QA Performance Engineer

6-12 month contract

Need Only Locals. In-Person interview Required

 

Candidate must be strong with loadrunner and executing test scripts. Also looking for someone with very good communication skills

 

Position Details:

Communicate with Project Managers, Systems Architects, Systems Analyst, DBA's and Application Developers to gather requirements for testing and develop estimates for testing execution
Writes effective test scripts within the framework of accepted Chase tools (Mercury Interactive – Load Runner, Win Runner) using documented requirements and technical specifications provided by client project managers
Executes test scripts; through automated or manual methods and reports findings according to the defined process
Participates/Support diagnostics testing of newly defined or modified environments
Develops data driven test automation scripts and executes performance and load testing of client products
Alerts client of defects and level of risk associated with each; keeps thorough records of defects; updates defects as status changes and reports to management on an ongoing basis the status of defects
Keeps project managers and technical staff informed of factors that may effect a timely rollout of the product or project
Conducts root cause analysis of all defects reported during project or product testing
Alerts client personnel to outstanding issues and assists as needed with problem resolution.
Updates project tracking tools as needed such as; First Time, Test Director, MS Project Plan
Attends project team meetings and is prepared to discuss status
Provides inputs and assist with the development of continual process improvements
