Job Description – Duties and Responsibilities

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning and managing customer implementation projects.

 

Duties and responsibilities include:

·        Define, plan and execute customer projects to achieve agreed business goals

·        Meet agreed project targets, demonstrating urgency, drive, energy and enthusiasm.

·        Accountable for the timeliness and quality of project work.

·        Be able to work under pressure with minimum supervision while balancing competing priorities.

·        Have outstanding verbal & written communication skills and a proven ability to learn quickly.

·        Identify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation and contingency strategies

·        Be the driver for resolving issues and escalating as appropriate

·        Schedule and lead project meetings and ensure actions are agreed and tracked

·        Provide accurate and timely management reporting and project documentation

·        Perform other assignments as required.

 

Job Specifications – Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience

·        At least 2 years of customer facing project management experience

·        PMI/PMP certification preferred

·        Must be a proactive self starter and possess the ability to solve problems and address issues with creativity and innovation.

·        Experience must demonstrate managing customer implementation projects or programs to successfully deliver within specified timescales and budget.  

·        Excellent written and oral communication skills

·        Experience in using Microsoft Excel to manipulate large spreadsheets and produce management reports

·        Experience in using other Microsoft Office tools – Word, Powerpoint, Project.

·        Technical experience with Thomson Reuters products and networks

·        Knowledge of financial markets and Thomson Reuters customers’ business drivers and ability to work in a demanding environment to meet customer deadlines.

·        High level understanding of Thomson Reuters order management systems and processes desirable
