Overview: -

·        They will review the Lotus Notes Collaboration environment and perform an environmental review and High-Level Implementation Plan with reference to migrate the environment to Microsoft SharePoint.

• The output of this phase of the project is a SharePoint Planning report that will document the current environment, business needs, current collaboration environment setup and functionality, including gaps or short-comings in the existing solution.
• This phase will develop High-Level Implementation Plan and Schedule for Pilot, and Enterprise Rollout.  To develop the SharePoint Server 2007 High-Level Implementation plan the consultants will conduct interviews and gather data relative to a collaboration service, including:
• Plan for overall conceptual design of SharePoint sites and solution.
• Develop Implementation Plan and preliminary Schedule for Proof-of-Concept/Pilot, and Enterprise Rollout of the Intranet and Extranet Waves of SharePoint capabilities.

Responsibilities : -

• Gather data on the existing Notes collaboration environment
• Provide preliminary support staffing model for end-state architecture
• Perform planning with respect to a migration from Lotus Notes to Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007.
• Provide Client existing documentation related to the current design and implementation of Lotus Notes collaboration environment
• Provide Client timely access to Lotus Notes Collaboration architects and application owners upon request
• Candidates should be strategic as well as tactical thinkers and well versed in the MOSS technologies.
• Delivering SharePoint Server 2007 planning document This planning service will produce a SharePoint Server 2007 Planning document that will describe the readiness of the CUSTOMER collaboration environment to support the implementation of the SharePoint Server 2007 infrastructure. In addition, this document will provide a high-level implementation plan for SharePoint Server 2007 and a preliminary CUSTOMER support staffing model for end-state architecture.
