Urgent Oracle DBA Required --Interview Next Week

Location - Plano, Tx / Chicago, IL.

Duration - Longterm

 

·         Oracle DBA experience - on both Intel and Unix (HP / AIX)

·         Installing Oracle

·         Upgrading Oracle

·         Oracle RAC experience on Linux in a large shop, with a large deployment

·         Backup / recovery using RMAN

·         Performance tuning

·         Can demonstrate previous implementation of proactive monitoring of a database

·         Unix Korn shell scripting - Mandatory

·         Perl scripting - Mandatory

·         Excellent communication skills 

 

Required Skills:

 

·         5 - 7 years experience in Database Engineering work

·         Oracle RAC experience on Linux in a large shop, with a large deployment – Mandatory

·         Experience with Oracle Names Server / Oracle Internet Directory

·         Knowledge of basic Unix performance monitoring tools like glance, perfview, top, sar, etc
