Title: Testing Manager with Financial experience
Location: NYC, NY

Duration: 6 months

Description:

• The testing manager is responsible for identifying current state processes across product lines and evaluating the potential for synergies using their testing domain knowledge.

• Testing Manager will work on all levels of the organization to ensure a clear communication plan is implemented for functional testing services.

• Testing manager will be responsible to be a thought leader in the automation, environment management and Funding models for the Shared Testing Service.

• Testing Manager will work with Shared Testing Service Governance committee to document all services in the service catalogue and formulate an engagement strategy /process for the development teams to use

• Relationship building, communication, coordination and management of workstream SMEs and Bas.

• Assessments of processes, tools, and techniques used in the testing domain.

• Assist Testing Governance resources as necessary.

 

Qualifications:

- 8-10 years of Testing Manager experience in the financial services industry using a structured development life cycle.  

- Testing Manager with previous Transition experience from decentralized to shared testing service.

- Testing management experience in automation, environment and testing funding chargeback models.

- Understanding of testing as a discipline that is integrated in the development lifecycle.

- Experience with Testing Metrics Dashboards and Tools.

- Group facilitation skills, thought leadership and communication on multiple levels.

 

DESIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

- Organization change management experience.

- Familiarity with process of engineering and tools used.

- Familiarity with Products used for Quality Control of HPs Test Center.

- Prior experience with Metrics Dashboards.

- Some familiarity with Process improvement methodologies like 6-Sigma, TMMi, etc.

- Testing Manager for IT Application development in a major investment bank; requirements, designs, building and testing.

- Basic business understanding of our production environments and businesses.

- Experience in best practice environments.
