Job Title       :      Business Analyst with Finance experience

 

Location       :      New London, CT

Duration       :      6+ Months

PROJECT/POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• The ideal candidate will have good analytical skills and a proven track record of professional, academic, and personal achievement. 
• A demonstrated ability to work proactively, negotiate, relate well to others, and “think outside the box” will enable the candidate to counsel and support internal clients. 
• Knowledge of key strategic and operational drivers in the pharmaceutical industry would be beneficial.  Must be able to quickly learn the use of applications like ARIBA, DataStream, and Computron
• Must have strong skills using MS Excel (Sorts, Filters, Vlookup tables, graphs, and Pivot Tables).  MS Access experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.  At least 1 year of business/financial experience.  Fixed Asset, MS Excel and Accounting are most critical skills.

Job Description:

• You will provide support for the recording, reporting, and tracking of the Fixed Assets of the division. 
• Primary role will be directly supporting the capital department. 
• You will work with the Controllers Group that supports all Client sites. 

Specific responsibilities include:

• Assist with the processing and recording of Notice of Equipment Move (NOEMs)
• Assist with making recommendations to create a more efficient and Streamlined NOEM process
• Assist with updating the Fixed Asset register with key data
• Assist with the annual inventory count of Fixed Assets
• Assist with other Ad Hoc projects
