Required skills/knowledge

Key skills: Oracle /SQL Server integration experience is a critical as well as experience in building SQL Server Cubes - a must

Position: Sr. BI Engineer with strong in Oracle/SQL Server
Start date: ASAP
Client location: Irving, TX
Duration: 3-6 months plus ext

Required Skills:

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering or IS
• 10 yrs experience in design and development of IT Solutions/Services
• 5 yrs+ experience in design and development of  Data warehousing, Business Intelligence, Decision Support Solutions
• Experience Direct Marketing, Customer Analytics, CRM, Campaign Management solutions a plus

Required Technical Toolkits:

• Proficient in Business Objects Designer and Web Intelligence (Webi)
• Proficient in Oracle SQL
• Proficient in SQL Server Analysis Service and Integration Services (2005 or later)

Preferred Technical Toolkits:

• Informatica is a plus
• Unica Affinium Campaign Management a plus
• SQL Server/MSCE or other certifications a plus

Responsibilities / Expected Tasks:

• Architecture, design and development of Business Intelligence solutions
• Creating materialized views in Oracle
• Creating SQL Server cubes
• Building universes against Oracle and/or SQL Server cubes
• Some report development using Web Intelligence
• Based on expertise, can potentially work on Informatica/Unica based solutions
• Develops unit test cases and ensures successful test completion before delivery to QA team
• Ability to multitask project execution and prioritize accordingly there by ensuring project deadlines are met and deliverables are completed in a timely fashion
• May be responsible for support and/or maintenance of existing or upcoming Business Intelligence solutions
