• The Data Warehouse Architect will lead and consult on the design, implementation and integration of data warehouses and data environments.
•  perform data warehouse design, construction and testing, including data design, database architecture, metadata and repository creation.
• DAMA Certification.
• Prior experience designing and building enterprise conceptual or logical data models.  Knowledge and experience using architecture modeling tools.
• Working knowledge of Data Management and Data Warehousing technologies related to data modeling, database administration and performance tuning, archiving and disaster recovery.
• Depth of knowledge with industry trends related to Data Warehousing, Data Management, metadata, Master Data Management, unstructured data and data quality practices.
• Experience managing and leading virtual, cross-functional teams, including defining requirements, developing designs and project plans, and delivering results.

 

• Ability to effectively communicate at different levels in and across the organization and to articulate to non-technical audiences the advantages and disadvantages of using various technologies and standards.

 

• Ability to work well with and influence multiple teams, including internal and external departments and organizations.

 

• Prior experience delivering database solutions using RDBMS and OODBMS technologies.

 

• Experience designing large scale analytical databases across multiple operating systems (Windows, UNIX, Teradata).
