Job title:Sr. Business Objects consultant with Strong Oracle exp

Location:Stamford,CT

Rate:$40 on c2c

Duration:3-6 months

 

• Minimum 4-6 years experience in Business Objects, including implementation, designing report using Web intelligence, Instant designer (DeskI).

• Need to be very strong in Oracle  along with Businesss Objects.
• • Must be able to create and edit Web Intelligence documents, build prompt filters on queries, insert and format tables & Charts, organize data in reports.
• • Strong hands-on resolving loops, DeskI, WebI, Infoview, Import Wizard.
• • Experienced on creation or modification of Universe.
• • Preferred to have knowledge of scheduling reports.
• • Should have experienced in report publishing.
• • Good to have knowledge on Admin module (including User creation and maintenance, Repositories, Domains, managing users).
• • Understanding of Web server and Application Server.
• • Must be a good problem solver • Must have excellent communication skills.
• • Must have strong Oracle  experience with a relational and multidimensional database concepts.
• • Must be UNIX (Linux or Solaris or AIX) skills preferably along with Unix shell scripting.

 

 Role:

• Works on problems involving the evaluation of specifications for business requirements and processes (new, enhancements, maintenance), and develops and prepares reporting solutions.
• Performs and leads data mapping for reporting, analyzing the database, and analysis efforts.
• Verifies program logic by preparing test data for trial runs, tests and debugs reports. Participates in the overall systems testing.
• Supports the implementation of the application into production environment
