Description:

The .Net Middle Tier position calls for an experienced candidate with at least 7 years of total work experience with C#.Net and experience implementing the middle and data tiers for an n-tier application using web services / SOAP technologies. Candidates should be self-sufficient, strong communicators, and should adapt quickly to changes in requirements.

Responsibilities:

�       Participate in design of software to meet business requirements in a highly participatory process.
�       Play a key role on data integration and middle tier teams delivering code supporting middle tier business logic and data access layers

�       Implement code modules in C#.Net supporting windows applications as necessary to meet requirements / design.
�       Provide documentation as required.
�       Participate in code reviews, planning sessions and daily status stand-ups.
�       Work with a highly diverse team and in a goal oriented environment, proactively taking.
�       Responsibility to get the job done (no such thing as �not my job�).

Required Skills:

�       N-tier/distributed application development using Web Services. �       C#.Net experience (.Net 3.5), Visual Studio 2005, 2008.
�       Thorough understanding of object-oriented design principles.
�       Experience with rule-based software implementation.
�       Experience with creating business logic and service-oriented architecture.
�       Experience with Iterative or Agile rapid delivery process (i.e., SCRUM).
�       Successful delivery of complex systems on tight deadlines.
�       He/She should have proven experience with development of complex distributed systems leveraging web services.
�       This is a demanding position working with a great team using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
�       B.S. or equiv. experience in Computer Science.

Desired Skills:

�       Expertise with ORM tools.
�       Reporting / business intelligence tools.
�       Techniques including performance tuning.
�       Insurance industry knowledge.
