Web Test Analyst – Dallas, TX
Contract Length: Through 4/30/2010

Responsibilities:
* Evaluate and test new or modified software products and validate documentation prior to release.
* Prepare and design test plans and cases (of moderate and high complexity, covering multiple business functions and/or platforms, as needed) based on customer and software requirements and technical understanding of product architecture to attain quality software both economically and efficiently.
* Ensure traceability of test cases to requirements.
* Executing various system, regression, integration, and ad-hoc tests according to approved test plans and testing schedule.
* Develop and execute automated test cases for both new and existing feature regression tests.
* Execute manual and automated test cases according to documented test plans.
* Verify accuracy of test results and document results.
* Document defects in defect tracking system.
* Perform re-tests to verify resolution of defects.
* Reproduce, investigate, and debug software issues.
* Develop and maintain project test deliverables in adherence to defined methodology

Skills Required:
* Minimum of 4 years of testing experience.
* Experience with requirements based testing methodologies, manual test case creation for automated purposes, and general requirements decomposition for test automation is a must.
* Experience with use cases.
* Clear and concise verbal, written and interpersonal skills including the ability to work in teams.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with initiative and accountability.
* Knowledge of testing methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle.
* Experience with requirements review and manual test verification and results/metrics/KPI reporting or reporting software.
* Ability to prioritize, organize, and accomplish multiple tasks, both as part of a team and independently.
* Ability to manage time while working on multiple projects.
* Health insurance industry experience helpful.
