Title: Pentaho Architect

Location: SFO, CA

Duration: 6 Months  

 

Job Description:

We have an urgent requirement for a Pentaho Architect.  The details are as follows:

 

Required Skills:

• Over 6-8 plus years of experience in software development with major focus in BI, DW and DB applications
• Over 4-5 years of hands-on experience in DW and BI areas.
• Strong understanding and working experience in SQL, PL/SQL and Dimensional Modeling. Involved in Analysis, Development, Functional Studies, Design and Quality Reviews.
• Working experience in OLAP tool using Microsoft Analysis Service 2005. Designed & developed an online analytical processing solution, which enabled analyzing of complex data.
• Working experience in ETL using open source Pentaho’s Kettle tool.
• Working experience in designing Data Warehouses and implementing Business Intelligence solutions using tools like Microsoft Analysis Service 2005, Microsoft Reporting Service 2005, Microstrategy 8.1, Pentaho 3 etc.
• Experience in managing and mentoring teams. Technically mentored subordinates in their individual tasks.
• Excellent inter-personal, team building, communication & mentoring skills. Good at reviews.

Pentaho experience:

• Experience building and working with open source data warehouse and BI solutions.
• Worked on Pentaho Kettle tool for ETL implementation.
• Developed reports, dashboards, metrics, ad-hoc reports using Pentaho Business Intelligence tool.
• Worked on Pentaho dashboard designer that helps in create personalized dashboards. Dashboards with flash visualizations.
• Integrated Pentaho with web based applications.
• Expertise on generating dashboards using Pentaho
