Position : Build Automation Engineer

Location : Austin, TX

Duration : 8 Months

Rate : $55/hr

Minimum Requirements:

Years	Skills/Experience
5	Experience designing, developing and coordinating build automation to streamline release processes across platforms (Windows.NET and WebSphere) and environments (Dev, Test, Prod; including virtual environments)
5	Experience in analysis and/or development experience in the full range of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including change control, version control, design, coding standards and Microsoft technologies for client/server and web-based software application development that use databases (e.g. SQL Server).
5	Ability to work with in a team environment and to communicate well both orally and in writing.
3	Experience with software packaging (MSI)
2	Experience developing and maintaining object oriented applications.
2	Experience with OOD/OOP methodologies such as .NET, C#, JAVA, C++, ASP, Visual Basic, XML, PowerShell or similar object oriented programming.
2	Experience with Nant, Ant and automated scripting. Strong Windows scripting skills (Powershell, bat, VBS, WMI).
2	Experience using SCM tools to control all aspects of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including, but not limited to - source code version/revision management, promotion and build/release management, and issue/change management.
2	Experience with troubleshooting, monitoring, alerting and reporting systems such as WMI, MOM, Perfmon, Service Control Manager.

Preferences:

Years	Skills/Experience
1	Experience as Windows System Administrator or WebSphere Administrator would be a plus.
1	Experience with WebSphere deployment automation and administration.
1	Experience with software change management and version management tools. Experience with Merant PVCS Tracker and Version Manager is a plus.
