SAP SD Lead Consultant

 

• Ability to understand the customer business processes and the IT landscape rapidly and able to foresee the likely challenges.
• Ability to frame the right set of questions for the multiple tracks.
• Create solution proposals with effort estimation for a chosen project track.
• And create a solution road map addressing the current and the future needs of the business.
• Conduct solution architecting workshops with the business managers.
• Create detailed solution documentation and presentations and implement the solution using the standard solutions in SAP.

• Should have at least 4 - 6 years of SAP experience in the core module of specialization and 3 - 5 years of domain experience.
• Able to lead a team and train the team and possess sufficient knowledge of the quality processes and adopted quality standards in projects.
• Knowledge of the recognized quality tools and Participate in Quality meetings . Demonstrates knowledge of Sales and Distribution processes and how these processes are treated and configured in SAP .
• Able to work with customer business teams and Wipro project teams effectively.
• Should be able to conduct requirement gathering workshops ,map these into SAP SD processes and identify gaps.
• Should know the processes adopted for custom developments, unit testing, functional testing, integration testing, go-live preparations and going live .

• Must have good knowledge of SAP system landscape and the role played by various systems, clients and transport mechanism in the landscape.

 

• Ability to perform due diligence collecting the right set of information from customers and documenting it.

 

• Assist in creating solution proposals , rough effort estimates, assist in designing client, landscape strategy documents or deciding the approach for support pack upgradation.

 

• Able to guide a team , Having the knowledge of the quality processes and also guide the team in using the various quality tools.
• Able to track SLA compliance and follow escalation matrix in support projects.

 

• Should have at least 2 - 4 years of SAP experience in basis administration.
• Experience in database and OS administration would be added advantage.
• Local and remote client copy with relevant copy profile, configuring client role, STMS configuration including setting TMS domain, transport layers, transport target etc.

 

• database monitoring/administration including backup management, index creation, tablespace management.
• Troubleshooting including SAP system startup problems, work process issues, lock administration.
