Duration: 6-12 Months

UNIX Systems Admin

Senior: Skills equivalent to 7-10 years in comparable position

Perform UNIX systems administration on production servers. Red Hat Linux, UNIX utilities, UNIX scripting, understanding of hardware.
Hours: 7:00am to 4:00pm

 
Knowledge of and experience with different server operating platforms, especially Windows and Unix

* Experience with IIS/Web services in a load balanced Active Directory global infrastructure

* Experience with Antivirus programs, Spam Filters, and Web monitoring

* Networking skills in TCP/IP; DNS and traffic flows

* Internet and hardware technologies such as load balancers, firewalls, clustering, encryption devices or accelerators

* Experience with Clustering Services / High availability systems

* Experience with security and system hardening

* Detailed knowledge of operating systems or components such as transaction processing, asynchronous implementation and load balancing is a plus.

 

            Basically client is looking some Unix Administrator with Strong Scripting and RedHat Linux experience Plus Windows System Administration experience. Good Communications Skills is a Must.
