HIPAA Standards
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) is underway with implementation activities to convert from Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Accredited Standards Committee (ASC) X12 version 4010A1 to ASC X12 version 5010 and National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP) version 5.1 to NCPDP version D.0.
The WEA IT Department needs one (1) experienced Java Developer contractor/consultant to work on a project involving 5010 transactions with CMS.

Strong experience or expert
- Java development on Windows platform
- XML
- XSLT
- EDI
- Eclipse

Experienced
- Subversion
- SQL and JDBC
- Ant
- MQ Series

Familiar
- Hudson and CI
- DB2 Syntax
- Ruby and Rake

Business Experience Required
- Experience working in a group health insurance payer environment
- Experience dealing with HIPAA transactions
