Description:

· This Web co-hosting production environment operates on a 7X24X365 schedule. The position is responsible for documenting network operations at 3 different data centers with 5 different landscapes throughout the US.
· General maintenance, troubleshooting and root cause analysis for network incidents in the environment
· Resolve all network issues assigned to the network team
· Drive problem resolutions to ensure business continuity
· Determine root cause analysis for all network problems
· Improve quality and ensure consistent and timely resolution of incidents
· Implement necessary steps to prevent future incidents
· Audit network devices to confirm network policies and guidelines meet or exceed targets for successfully audits
· Perform change management (CM) role on all network devices. Implement network change requests based on CM processes
· Design and build all network solutions according to client requirements on time and within budget
· Review and validate design of network systems
· Install all network components
· Document processes in accordance with the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) requirements.
Required Skills & Experience:
· Minimum of 4 years of network experience (particularly with Cisco)
· CCNP certification (MUST be current- not expired)
· LAN/WAN architecture including firewalls
· OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, HSRP, VLAN, and TCP/IP
· VLAN
· Cisco routers (2500, 2600, 3600, 4000, 7200, and 7500) and Cisco switches (2900, 3500, 4500, 5500 and 6500)
· Cisco IOS and CiscoWorks
· Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, GigE, and Fast Ether channel
· Excellent troubleshooting
· Follow-up and attention to detail
· Professional, responsible attitude and work independently
· Work with remote, matrixed teams
· Extensive written documentation (processes, user guides)

Description:

· This Web co-hosting production environment operates on a 7X24X365 schedule. The position is responsible for documenting network operations at 3 different data centers with 5 different landscapes throughout the US.
· Typical Duties:
o Support WebFocus integration into distributed Web infrastructure
o Provide consultant-level direction and guidance to clients and EDS team
o Troubleshoot WebFocus development and performance-related issues.
Required Skills & Experience:
· 5 years’ experience in WebFocus development, integration, and production support
· J2EE
· 5 years’ experience in JAVA 3 tiered architecture
· Excellent troubleshooting
· Follow-up and attention to detail
· Professional, responsible attitude and work independently
· Work with remote, matrixed teams
· Superior written and verbal communication, including executive-level presentations
· Banking or financial industry experience is a plus.
