Sr. Java Developer (7+ years of experience)

Location: Charlotte
Contract until at least end of year

 

Responsibilities:

·         Participate in the architecture, design, build, and testing of n-tier 
          web applications

·         Analyze software requirements and document technical
          specifications/design documents for web-based solutions

·         Support and resolve issues during project releases in multiple
          environments

 

Required:

·         Core Java/j2ee, Web services - design and development experience

·         Strong JavaScript, DHTML, AJAX and RIA web frameworks experience

·         Spring framework, Spring MVC/portlet MVC

·         Strong Oracle SQL and JDBC/JPA knowledge

·         Knowledge of Design Patterns and best practices with focus on
          performance tuning

·         XML/XSLT

·         Weblogic server/portal 9.x/10, Eclipse/Weblogic workshop

 

Nice to have skills:

·         Weblogic Portal 9.x Experience

·         Exposure to Netezza

·         Performance tuning on web applications

·         ExtJS Javascript framework knowledge

·         Adobe Flex
