SUMMARY |
- Over 7 yrs of Functional & Technical experience in IT with 5 years of experience in SAP R/3 expertise with a strong focus on Financial Accounting and Controlling (FI/CO) modules and SAP ABAP.
- Techno-Functional experience in SD, MM, FI/CO Modules
- Significantly contributed in 2 full life cycle implementations and Upgrade in Finance and Controlling modules in various roles handling responsibilities as required.
- Expertise in configuration testing of FI/CO modules – General Ledger (FI-GL), Accounts Receivable (FI-AR), Accounts Payable (FI-AP), Asset accounting (FI-AA), Cost center accounting (CO-OM-CCA), Profit center accounting (CO-PCA) ,Product Cost Controlling (CO-PC), Enterprise Controlling (EC-PCA) and Internal orders (IO).
- Experience in integration of FI/CO with SD, MM and PP modules.
- Experience in gathering & analyzing business requirements and business process
re-engineering.
- Expertise in configuring the system based on client's requirements and best business practices.
- Techno-functional experience in Debugging ABAP Programs, Creation and recording of BDC Sessions, SCATT, LSMW, ABAP Queries, Report Painter and possess an ability to propose and justify technical solutions.
- Experience in preparing simple enhancement documents and writing functional specifications for Interfaces and programs. Also experienced in handling and resolving production support problems.
- Configuration experience with the third party software like TAXWARE and knowledge of VERTEX.
· Proficient with planning, GAP analysis, design implementation, trouble shooting, performance tuning support and user training and creation of user documentation of SAP FI/CO.
- Good understanding of ASAP methodology.
- Strong knowledge in Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting concepts.
- Working experience in pharmaceutical, manufacturing and chemical industries, Metal Industry, FMCG.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills combined with a variety of Functional skills.
- Self motivated with an ability to work independently and in a team with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management skills with an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Experience in Testing, Go-Live, Post-Live support.

§ FI Enterprise Structure: Chart of accounts, fiscal year, posting period, company code, business areas, and functional areas.
§ FI-GL : Account groups, GL master records, sample accounts, field status groups, posting keys, automatic account determination, inter-company automatic account posting, sales/use tax assignment, number ranges, document types, tolerance groups.
§ FI-AR: Customer groups, customer master data, billing, payment terms and interest calculation, incoming payments, dunning, withholding tax, credit management, cash discounts, closing operations.
§ FI-AP : Vendor groups, vendor master data, automatic payments, recurring entries, invoices, credit memos, closing procedures, Creation of Special GL and Linking with Reconciliation Account.
§ Funds Management: Cash Management, Setting up Cash Journal.
§ Asset Accounting: Asset class, asset master records, chart of depreciation, acquisition, scrapping, inventory lists, history sheets.

- Defined settlement rules and settlement parameters for settlement of orders to cost objects
